Here is just one example of how Photoshop can be used to modify an otherwise distracting background. On location we capture the best that is available, and then can improve on it with the new digital darkroom.


In the following example the background was moved forward to show off the Denver skyline & the mountains, the foreground was cleaned up, a shadow was taken off the boy's shirt (right side), and the boy in the center got a better facial expression.
